I have not hired Hillary Clinton to promote my book, “Calculated Chaos,” despite her efforts to promote the thinking I have analyzed therein. Speaking at the European Parliament yesterday, Hillary saw in the current economic crisis that has beset the world an opportunity to promote statism. “Never waste a good crisis,” she intoned. She might just as well have asked how the state could flourish if peace and prosperity were to suddenly break out in the world!
