An old (and very talented, and very liberal) friend of mine, John Hall, was defeated in New York’s 19th congressional district by Dr. Nan Hayworth. I note that, like Dr. Rand Paul, she is an ophthalmologist.
Perhaps Dr. Paul could invite her to lunch in January. If they see eye to eye, I suggest they form a “See-Straight Caucus” on Capitol Hill.
