After having left Camp Casey in his dust, Bush told Israeli tv from his vast former pig farm that he would have to sow salt where the cities of Iran once stood, if that nation did not bow down and obey him.

There is no evidence that Iran has the bomb, but why might it want one? To deter a US attack. It would not bomb the US, since that would get it incinerated. The same with Israel.

Indeed, Bush would not be so free with his threats if he thought that Iran had the bomb, just as he has toned down his menacing comments against North Korea. Had Saddam had WMD (W’s Means of Destruction), Bush would have left him alone.
