Bob Herbert, comfortably preaching from the NYT's oft-sullied secular pulpit, mourns the unfairness of it all. The reason for all our ills is simple: we have paid no heed to Bob Herbert.
The answer? Should Bob Herbert learn some history, economics, and ethics? Nooooooo! Bob Herbert digs in his heels. Class warfare is required. But how to foment it? "Strong leaders are needed!"
And what will supply that "strength"? The state, of course, destroying all enterprise and freedom. And where will the state find those "strong leaders"? Gee, I guess the state will have to ask Bob Herbert.
So the state should force everybody to be equal? Tell it to Harrison Bergeron.
