But if airline workers--like Napolitano, Pistole, and other officials--are to be spared the police state while passengers are not, this will only increase anti-airline and anti-flying sentiment. On the other hand, as I once heard an ex-Republican congressman advocate, many fascisti want the airlines nationalized and travel restricted to officials, big businessmen, media stooges, and other corporate state types. All in the name of public safety, of course.
