I am a fan of your work to restore liberty in this country, but I have a disagreement about this view of Buchanan. I am hardly defending Lincoln, but it should be noted that Buchanan too launched a war of federal supremacy, against the Mormons. While not nearly as bloody as Lincoln's mass murder, it is still an instance of crushing a secessionist movement.
