Desperate times call for desperate measures. As the U.S. Federal Government closes in on 13 trillion dollars in debt, I guess every penny counts when it comes to paying the debt off. Literally. Case in point:
Some agents from the Internal Robbery Service paid a recent visit to Harv's Metro Car Wash in Sacramento to demand payment for unpaid taxes—in this case, for the grand total of four cents. But it gets worse. It seems that the owner of the car wash, Aaron Zeff, proved with a letter he received from the IRS last October that he didn't owe any back taxes—let alone the four cents.
And they say big government doesn't work.
