Will New York City Rub Salt in the Wound?

First, the Nazi York City government banned all smoking in private establishments. Then, it banned the use of trans fats in restaurant-prepared foods. Most probably it will impose a tax on sugared soft drinks. And now (drum roll, please) one of the Nazis has proposed a BAN ON THE USE OF SALT in preparing restaurant foods.

Fortunately, New York City chefs are up in arms about this latest Hitlerian proposal. Unfortunately, I will no longer be shocked if their protest doesn't do any good.

UPDATE: Sam Carson has written to point out that the bill actually is from a criminal in the New York State government, therefore, this would cover the entire state. This was my error in reading the original article. I guess I got so carried away when I saw the phrase "New York City chefs" that it didn't register with me that the bill was actually being proposed to the state legislature.
