Judge Andrew Napolitano has written many important books, but his latest is a libertarian blockbuster: Lies the Government Told You: Myth, Power, and Deception in American History. Ron Paul writes the introduction, and he loves the book too. When we put the widget up on the front page of LRC, Lies the Government Told You was at 75,000 on Amazon. Now it's at 3,700, and we just added the widget to the main blog page. The publication date is March 2nd, and this book deserves to debut at #1. We need a bookbomb. Let's make it happen!

The Judge explains, through history, economics,and the law, how the feds manufacture crises to grab more power over the individual, and lying is the basic strategy. The government has lied us into wars, inflation, higher taxes, centralization, and many other evils. The people must see though the fog of prevarication generated by DC and its kept media. As Ron notes, this book is a great guide to clear seeing, and clear thinking, about the lie machine called the US government. BTW, Andrew Napolitano--in addition to being a TV star, brilliant orator, and constitutional expert--is also a great writer. Go, Judge!
