Why Slight the Red Cross?

And not just the Red Cross, but all the other relief agencies in Haiti. In response to my article, "Should the U.S. Military Go to Haiti?" I was told that I advocated "doing nothing" for the Haitian people since I was opposed to the U.S. military going to Haiti. We all know that "without US troops the aid will fail to be realized as aid." I guess this should not have surprised me, since the writer also claimed to support U.S. troops fighting in Afghanistan. But what's up with the self-proclaimed "antiwar libertarians" who objected to my article? Why all the trust in the U.S. military? Thanks to Ralph Raico for word of this new article that likewise argues, and in more detail than my article, against the U.S. military going to Haiti.
