I was told that I advocated "doing nothing" for the Haitian people since I was opposed to the U.S. military going to Haiti. We all know that "without US troops the aid will fail to be realized as aid." I guess this should not have surprised me, since the writer also claimed to support U.S. troops fighting in Afghanistan. But what's up with the self-proclaimed "antiwar libertarians" who objected to my article? Why all the trust in the U.S. military?
