Art Bell, the legendary sci-fi talk show host, has been living in Manila for a few years now, and only occasionally hosts the show he founded, Coast2CoastAM. But the former somewhat libertarian madman of the airwaves, who became Mr. Establishment after 9/11/01, is still a regimist. The other night he gave an impassioned, if incoherent, defense of Al-Gorish global warming, after allegedly reading the climategate emails from England. Then he propaganda-interviewed some warmonger about that conservative bugabear, the 40-year-old tale of an EMP that will allow one atomic weapon to destroy every electronic device in the US, and defeat the empire. Why did the Russians therefore have to have 10s of thousands of warheads? Or the US? Blankout. This is, that is, just another attempt to stir up the spirit of mass murder against Iran. Shame, Art, shame.
