If you have any doubt then listen to NPR's Terry Gross interview New York Times reporter David Rohde. Rohde was kidnapped by the Taliban and held for seven months (see his article "7 Months, 10 Days in Captivity") before he escaped. I thought it especially interesting that Obama is hated more than Bush because of his predator drone attacks and escalation of the war in Afghanistan.

And by the way, October, even though it is not over yet, is the worse month ever for the number of dead US soldiers in Afghanistan.
