This morning, the Huffington Post’s lead story was on “Presidential Overreaching,” with a link to this story, and a non-superman photo of the prez. Now it’s three upbeat, athletic photos of Obama with the headline, “Going for the Gold,” and a link to this story about the Olympics (let’s hope he fails here as everywhere, btw). Funny to think of the internal blowup at Huffpo over a little truth.

UPDATE: The Olympics, a festival of nationalist hysteria, always costs the sponsoring city’s tax victims many billions. Obama wants it as a tribute to him—the Obamics?—and since he can pay the biggest bribes, and whisper the most blood-curdling threats, he will probably succeed. But we can always hope!
