All U.S. children should get seasonal flu shot: CDC

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - All U.S. children aged 6 months to 18 years should get a seasonal influenza vaccine every year, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday.

The CDC's Dr. Anne Schuchat said the agency was strengthening recommendations for children to get the vaccination against seasonal influenza, especially with fears ["fears"—are you "afraid" yet, LRC blog readers? Ooooooooh.] that the new H1N1 virus will be added to the already expected burden of seasonal flu.

First the gunvernment gets those citizens who are a captive audience (i.e., public school slaves) to require shots—or else they can't have the displeasure of attending public schools.

Next will be the rest of us sheeple.
