Bob Barr, who has much to answer for as a federal prosecutor and congressman, has had some good things to say since leaving the government payroll (there's a lesson there, I think). Here he points out the FBI's use of GM's OnStar to spy on the coversations of a chosen auto. Once again, government perverts a great private invention to its own nefarious purposes.
