Lew, here's the Eric Holder speech threatening that voluntary association will no longer be tolerated if it violates the state's "diversity code." Holder says, "We are then free to retreat to our race protected cocoons where much is comfortable and where progress is not really made. If we allow this attitude to persist..."

If we allow...?

This means that people who are white and peacefully go about their own business each day should be, what, forced to live in predominantly black neighborhoods? Perhaps the government should launch a form of busing for middle-class, white adults who refuse to do whatever it is they are supposed to be doing in their free time that conforms to the state's goals for "integration" and "progress." I think Washington could set a great example for all of us by forcing its wealthiest, elected bureaucrats - including Holder - to move into D.C.'s worst ghettos, thereby showing all of us how it's done. Holder also points to an America that is "voluntarily socially segregated," and that means...? Voluntarily means "choice" and "peaceful" and "by preference" - or am I missing something here? His very brash point is that it is a crime to associate peacefully with individuals with whom you have a shared set of attributes.

It's quite revealing to note how silent libertarians have been regarding this spine-chilling speech - the same libertarians who jump at any opportunity to vilify "racism" and declared "racists," along with the use of force against free men who are peaceful in their daily activities. I guess chiming in on this affair won't get them kudos from the politically-correct Beltway and mainstream publications.
