Last night I was listening to classical station WQXR, which is owned by the New York Times. At 9:00pm each night, they do a preview of the op-ed page for the next day. As soon as I heard that excerpt from Krugman’s piece about people shouldn’t whine about the government NOT being accountable for proving the benefits of the money it is spending, the first thing I thought was, “Bill Anderson is going to have a FIELD DAY with this on the LRC blog tomorrow!”
