Thanks, Lew

Lew, so glad this has all come out into the open over the past couple of years, particularly thanks to the Ron Paul phenomenon that made the D.C. types so uncomfortable.

Listen well to what Lew is saying, young Ron Paulians: the message Lew received was that Mises, and especially Rothbard, had to be purged. How could the sophisticates ever attain respectability burdened by such baggage? Hayek could stay, undoubtedly because of his more accommodating style, but ignored were Hayek’s extremely combative economic writings of the 1930s, back in print thanks to the Mises Institute. The Ron Paul phenomenon revealed how many people want the undiluted message, including the previously unfashionable focus on the Fed. Onward in 2009!
