Did you notice he stuck “yes we can” into his victory speech? What is up with that? Is this going to be our first president with catch phrases like that, which he consciously repeats over and over again as though he were an SNL caricature? He should have let that slogan to his legacy in the primaries. He should come up with some new material, now that he’s won the most important election in the history of the galaxy. I hope he doesn’t rely on it in his inaugural. And for the crowd to chant “yes we can” along with him? Creepy and, worse, unoriginal.
Bush never had anything catchy to say, let alone worth saying more than once. I fear for our future.
