Lew, thanks for posting the Al Smith dinner speeches. I thought Obama was beginning to pull away, leaving nothing interesting on election night, but the latest polls suggest otherwise. Both speechwriters were good, but McCain actually looked smashing and was funny. Obama's delivery was uncomfortable, nervous, timid. Will the warmonger beat the taxmonger/redistributionist? Will we see a popular vote winner who loses in the electoral vote?
