Why Are Banks So Weak?

Amidst all the propaganda about the urgent need to subsidize, bailout, bolster, inject liquidity, lend "any amount," etc. to banks - all via vast creation of fiat money and hyperinflation by the Fed and its subsidiaries - no one explains why banks are so liable to fail.
