A Silver Lining

At least now some Republicans realize Bush is a socialist. Now, I want add to this understanding. There is no deviation here from his record. Bush was always a socialist. His war is socialist. His domestic policy is socialism, although of a rightwing variety. And Bush-style conservatism is a type of socialism.

Let's hope this helps with the conceptual realignment that we need: war, intervention, socialism, taxation, inflation, welfarism, corporatism, civil liberties violations, nationalism, militarism, protectionism, police statism and executive supremacy are all one side, and liberty is on the other. There is absolutely no inconsistency here in Bush's nationalization of the finance sector. It all goes together.
