I Am Not Confused

My friend Bill Anderson is confused about the Ron Paul press conference today. I don’t agree that “Ron Paul has no more in common with McKinney and Nader than he has with John McCain.” Like McKinney and Nader, McCain (and Obama) are all about “empowering the federal government and empowering the state.” But unlike McKinney and Nader, McCain (and Obama) care nothing about the four Ron Paul unity principles: no agressive foreign policy, no anti-privacy laws, no national debt, and no federal reserve. A Nader or McKinney or Baldwin presidency (for obvious reasons, I have omitted the name of Barr) with a Democratic/Republican Congress would be heavenly gridlock. Yes, Nader and McKinney would be dangerous if they were running for dictator. Yes, they are both socialists, but so are McCain and Obama. I think the burning issue is the war and American foreign policy. Therefore, anyone, including my dog, would be far better than McCain or Obama.
