Wow, I haven't even seen the organized Right attacking Obama's academic history. Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate Wayne Allyn Root doubts that Obama did well at Columbia University. He wants to see Obama's grades.

Root believes Obama only managed to get to Harvard (and become president of its law review, I'm guessing), because of affirmative action, whose abolition Root calls a big "civil rights issue." It seems poor Root just can't believe someone like Obama could get very far without being black. Check out his rant. Obama, by the way, has said of his time at Columbia: “When I transferred, I decided to buckle down and get serious. I spent a lot of time in the library. I didn’t socialize that much. I was like a monk.”
