The corporatist monsters Fannie and Freddie are broke, of course, and so the State will bail out its babies with more money stolen from the taxpayers, and more monetary deprecation. This is only the beginning of what we will suffer as a result of the Fed’s artificial boom and bust since the State fell flat on its face on 9/11, and decided to run the counterfeiting presses 24/7. But this federal depression – with its impoverishment for the middle class and bailouts for Wall Street and the rest of the power elite – could bring on a social revolution. What, for example, will be the effect of everyone not rich frozen in his present location, because there wil be no selling and buying of houses under what we have been taught to think of as normal circumstances?
