For years, I've kind of liked Justice Anthony Kennedy. He has a good first name, for one thing. And by siding with the conservatives on gun rights and the liberals on habeas corpus, he's emerged in the last several weeks as a half-decent "moderate" -- as opposed to the other kind, who always takes the wrong position.
