Wear Black for Leviathan’s Funeral

Let’s see, Lew . . .

The D.C. think tank’s “responsible, respectable, important work” has accomplished exactly . . . what? Leviathan has continued to grow apace, the GOP continues to bamboozle millions into believing that it’s the party of smaller government, and every “respectable” commentator and think tank agrees with Uncle Sam’s imperial misadventures.

Meanwhile, LRC has been instrumental in launching and sustaining the presidential bid of Ron Paul, who currently has one of the best-selling books in the country and who has set in motion a revolution that the GOP and the “respectable” types are desperate to keep bottled up. Dr. Paul has, in a year and a half, undoubtedly instilled libertarianism, or at least the seeds of it, into the minds of millions. How many converts have the “respectable” think tanks won during their entire existence? How many Americans are inspired to get off their rear ends and do seemingly crazy things for the sake of the Kochtopus? How many [insert D.C. think tank member's name here] Meetup groups are there?

It all comes down to this: You can stand on Capitol Hill with the “respectable” think tanks, waving the white flag and surrendering to the state, or you can do thought-provoking, motivating, revolutionary work with Lew Rockwell.
