I do agree with James on his post. It is just that Spitzer of all people has used the law as a club to shake down a lot of private businesses. That he has been caught does not make what the feds have done to be the right thing, but nonetheless it is ironic to see Spitzer caught in a web that he has helped to create.

I have written over the past years about how governments continue to criminalize behavior that should not even be in civil court. The beat goes on...and on.
