Writes Joshua V. Richards: "I find it interesting the massive outrage by the general population regarding the cruel death imposed on that poor puppy. I do not condone, nor do I justify his actions whatsoever, but I do find the reaction by the unwashed masses to be amusing.

"Our military trains these men to kill without conscience. It trains them to not value human life and to be able to sleep after an indiscriminate killing. The public knows and accepts this (obviously, as 600,000 dead Iraqi's can testify). Yet, somehow the same people who are supportive of the mass slaughter of Middle Easterners, are absolutely enraged over the death of a little dog.
