“In Topeka, we only have to wait 3 hours at the ER. Everyone, not just immigrants, are using ER as PCP, Last time I was in, the drunk guy next to myelf and my 2 year old insured son was a reg visitor who comes in when his teeth hurt. This young polite drunk talked to the security guard for a long time, at the same time entertaining the people waiting. Apparantly they have their regulars per my conversation with the first nurse, they put them behind little kids and truly sick, but they have to deal with them at some point thanks to regulation.
