re: Ron Paul #2 in Louisiana

Ronald Reagan actually finished in first place in Louisiana, followed by McCain and Paul. The Reagan delegate slate, or the Pro-Life/Pro-Family delegate slate, won a majority of all delegates — all of whom are uncommitted to any candidate.

According to “parocks” at RonPaulForums, Paul has won 5 of the delegates, and could win up to a total of 24 after all the provisional ballots are counted. Depending on how large the Pro-Life/Pro-Family majority is, Paul could end up having the most committed delegates after all the provisional ballots are counted: if the Pro-Life/Pro-Family slate won at least 57 delegates, and Paul gets 24 delegates, he would have tied or won the caucus.
