Looks Like the Battle Is for Third Place

With 25 percent of precincts reporting, it looks like the top dog will be Huckabee Hound, who has 35 percent of the vote, followed by Romney with 24 percent. Then we have Thompson at 14 percent, McCain at 12 percent, and Paul at 11 percent. Third place appears to be the only one with much chance of changing, and any one of Thompson, McCain, or Paul could end up with it.

On the Democrat side (not that we care much or that it really matters who wins), it’s a three-way race for number one, with Obama, Edwards, and Clinton all within a couple points of each other, each around 33 percent.
