Does CNN Give Ron Paul a Monster Face?

Writes Jim Love: “In the compilation of Ron Paul’s debate today which you posted on the blog, I noticed starting at 2:45 the face of Ron Paul seems to be blended with some horror movie face. Just wondered how this occurred and if anybody else noticed.”

Jim is right. CNN, lis it you or someone else who pulled this dastardly trick?

UPDATE: Writes Mark Smith, “That’s just a video compression encoding artifact. Rather common on YouTube videos. ;-)

UPDATE 2: Writes Josh, “It’s possible that it’s an error, but being that it’s so precisely centered on his face, it would be quite a coincidence. It’s very possible to manipulate in such a manner with little difficulty. The more I think about it and look at it, the less likely that it seems like it would be an error. The only ghosting is on his face, you don’t see any distortion in his suit jacket or anywhere else. It doesn’t help that it’s a streaming video that is fuzzy by nature, but you can still discern between the usual lack of clarity and the distortion. btw You Tube was founded by a couple of enterprising grads from the U of I here in Champaign-Urbana! :o )”
