The sarcastic Andrew Malcolm is being dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century (a time that will not be known, if I can break it to him, as the Era of the Metro Newspaper). But still, get him rewrite, he can't help but take notice of a candiate with masses of actual supporters, rather than Milktoasts for Fred or his other preferred organizations. Andy - you and I worked together during the Goldwater years 45 years ago, and those were exciting times.

I haven't seen anything like this since the "little old ladies in tennis shoes" (all Goldwater supporters were included, and the leftists loved to make fun of us -- until we changed history. Little kids it tennis shoes, take note!)

The Ron Paul people are really grass roots. No DC lobbyist in the hot tub dare support him. He'd shut their water off!

My local Ron Paul coordinator is in his 40's, is a mechanic, and hated politics until he saw RP's name two months ago and Googled him.
