The commanding heights of National Review are occupied by neocons, but the readers and donors are not, by and large, of the same persuasion. Thus NR--like all regime conservative and libertarian publications and institutions--is gradually being forced by the market to cease opposing Ron Paul, and to start supporting him. How sweet it is!
Besides, as John Derbyshire notes, America faces a systemic crisis, and so needs a systemic solution, and that means Ron Paul. (Thanks to Jacob Longton.)
