Joe Lieberman’s (I-CT) recent speech attacking war critics may be cause for the eventual Republican Presidential nominee to 'offer him the vice presidency.' Peter Wehner, a former assistant to President Bush, endorses the 'Joe for VP' meme at the Corner.

"In addition to the war, Lieberman is a flat our socialist who supports the big labor agenda; supports government run health care and a federal program to insure every American to age 25. It is amazing how far Republicans have strayed from their small government roots. Liberty be damned -- war at all costs!"

Evan, the neocons are missing one small point, however. Ron Paul would never pick the crazed chickenhawk Lieberman as his running mate.
