Regarding Lew's post on tyrannical federal judges: You will note that the three federal judges who have delayed the California recall because of the existence of allegedly out-moded voting machines did not think those same machines were inadequate less than a year ago when they were used to elect the judges' preferred candidate, fellow leftist Gray Davis. There was no ACLU "equal protection" lawsuit over that, of course.
