I had an interesting email exchange with Mark Rotblat, Director of Marketing for TubeMogul, on the question of the Ron Paul surge. TubeMogul says on their contact page, “Give us a chance to impress you with our quick response time” and I am duly impressed. Mark wrote his ideas up in a blog post which is also impressive and convincing. Most everyone who emailed in response to the earlier post thought it was either the digg or reddit postings except Bret Moore, who hoped it was his speaking out about Ron Paul at a law school talk last week, so the possibility does exist that the digg and reddit posts aren’t the whole story.
