The US-government regulated and drained internet is in the dark ages as compared to Japan and other countries, where broadband is up to 30 times faster and much cheaper. Americans will miss out on much innovation as a result.

We're also behind technologically because the US state sweeps so many resoures into its imperial sewer, and also drains the private economy of engineers and scientists, whom it uses for mass murder and world dominion. (Thanks to Kev Hall.)
