Amanda Maxwell writes: "Five hundred people crammed into this dramatic setting of a large high-ceilinged room with walls covered with animal trophies, tiled floor and a long mahogany bar on one side. In every corner of the room there were balconies from the 2nd floor and they were all packed with people, too. On the central staircase was a landing from which Dr. Paul spoke as he looked down over the crowd. There was a very diverse crowd, children, old people, some in wheel chairs, and all shapes and sizes in between. Even two guys in 'V for Vendetta' masks, who made quite a hit with the local media.
"Nothing can describe the energy in the room. It was crackling. Even as I write this to you, it brings tears to my eyes. Ron Paul was introduced as the 'truth-teller.' And he lived up to his billing. Truth was told and the people loved it and cheered and clamored for more. We've heard this about every one of his public presentations since So. Carolina, but one just has to be there to experience the rush."
