Sacre Bleu

Writes Robert Higgs: "A couple days ago, while driving along a quiet street in Covington, Louisiana, I was startled to see in a residential yard a large banner, perhaps eight feet long and two feet high, that read in large letters, 'Who Is Ron Paul?,' and in smaller letter along the lower right-hand side, 'ronpaul2008.com.' Covington is a small town, inhabited for the most part by staunchly pro-Bush Republicans, along with a substantial minority of welfare-state Democrats. Sacre bleu, thought I. What's going on? Although campaign signs for local politicians litter the roadsides hereabouts, I have noticed no other signs related to aspirants for the presidency recently.

"Is it possible that my wife and I are not the only libertarians in St. Tammany Parish?"
