The military is seeking to punish its troops that try to commit suicide. This article points out: "Last year, the 301 known military suicides accounted for 20 percent of U.S. military deaths. From 2001 to August 2012, the U.S. military counted 2,676 suicides."
Why not help the troops by not sending them to fight senseless foreign wars? If the U.S. were actually attacked and our troops had to fight invaders, I doubt any of them would feel like committing suicide or get PTSD.
