The rate of doggy unemployment is about to increase significantly. According to CNN, the TSA has hired a company to train bees to sniff out bombs. Our bureaucratic protectors claim that the bees wag their tongues when they smell a bomb, and can do it much faster than bomb-sniffing dogs can. So instead of seeing our Transportation Security Gestapo (TSG) bureaucrats walking around airports with dogs, we will soon see them with little containers filled with bees.

Will the animal rights people tolerate this new form of slavery? Will there be soup lines for dogs? Government retraining programs? Will the terrists be able to bribe some of the less-than-patriotic bees and get away with their dastardly deeds? These are all questions, no doubt, that Rand Corporation researchers are working on.
