Writes Politico: "Paul, a Republican representative from Texas, has railed against the Federal Reserve for so long that his supporters sometimes chanted 'End the Fed! End the Fed!' at rallies during his long-shot 2008 presidential run."  Ron was also "anti-Fed before anti-Fed was cool." NB, of course he has never "railed" about anything, but rather patiently taught. But Politico, a big-time liberal DC newsite that is displacing the Washington Post in some areas, covers Ron's anti-Fed efforts and the good effects they are having, like 242 cosponsors on his Audit the Fed bill. But the site includes, unfortunately,  Sen. Jim Bunning, as a chief anti-Fed guy. Now Bunning is better on the issue than any other senator (not exactly high praise), but Ron has been studying the central bank and its depredations for 40 years. His doctorate is in medicine, not economics, but he is a real Austrian economist nonetheless. Bunning is just another elected boob. Oh well. Read the story, and preorder Ron's book, End the Fed.
