Poor Mark Sanford. The South Carolina governor wants a couple of days away from the media and his ridiculous "security." and so there is hysteria. A top pol is not supposed to undermine the myth of government in this way, the myth that we need the constant guiding and ruling hand of the parasites, or otherwise we wouldn't know what to do. Or we would know what to do: naughy things. Why, without the government stealing our money, somebody might steal our money. This morning on MSNBC -- state media -- the Politico's Mike Allen, mainstream son of conservative great Gary Allen, blamed Sanford for daring to be on his own. "Why, what if there were a hurricane?" That's right. South Carolinians wouldn't know what to do without sermons and orders from the top tax-eater.
