Don't miss this important paper by economist and libertarian philosopher Hans-Hermann Hoppe on the social benefits of savings. He demolishes both the Keynesians and all those influenced by Keynes, which is almost the entire economics profession - inluding the monetarists and some "free bankers" - plus politicians, bureaucrats, central bankers, and the media. Yet people, especially now, save, ought to save, and must save. And despite the anti-savings propaganda, they feel good about it. As well they should! NB: this is a technical paper, but like all Hoppe and the other great Austrians, it's accessible to the intelligent layperson. So read it!
