It's all over the local news tonight: Rick Wagoner, chairman and CEO of General Motors, has been fired by the president of the United States. Sure, it's being reported that he will step down (resign) at the request of the president and his "task force," but indeed, the government is running GM now, so it was an order that gave Wagoner and the GM board no other choice. Welcome to Presidential Motors, a company that will attempt to run its business the way the Obama administration is running America ..... into the sh***er.
