During a commercial break on CNBC, I tuned into MSNBC. The assembled brainiacs were indignant over Rod Blagojevich. How dare he defend himself? How dare he appear on other shows? (That part wasn't mentioned.) Of course, he's a crook. He's a politician. But why has he been targeted? Regime persecutor Patrick Fitzgerald leaked selected wiretaps, but won't release those involving Rahm Emmanuel or other high-ranking federal henchmen. Indeed, the state senate in its trial of Rod won't allow him to defend himself, to protect the Obamamanians. So he, smartly, is on a PR tour instead of being a potted plant for his enemies.
