Gil and Stephan, I can’t believe you two have overlooked the most silver of linings in the hurricane, namely all the economic activity the rebuilding effort will generate! Why, if we could just have a disaster every day–and goodness knows the financial sector and the Fed are trying their best to provide this–think of what a booming economy we could have!
