Here is a letter from Barr asking Paul to be his VP today. If you read between the lines, it is clear that 1. Barr hates Ron Paul; 2. Barr expects Paul to say no to him; 3. Barr is setting himself up to look like the hero for asking and Paul the goat for saying no.

This whole letter reads “Remember when I was great and did all these great things and asked you to do things too? Remember when the things you did turned out to be stupid? Well, I am giving you a chance to redeem yourself.” Nice way of asking for a favor. I remember friends like that: I had them in high school. Now I remember why I hated high school.

Does Barr not realize that most of us are sick of politics as usual? Well, this is the most heavy handed, double meaning, twisted, convoluted, no way to win letter I have ever seen. I will be writing in Ron Paul this year.
